Rhial N. Devine, a senior associate and experienced litigator began her legal career handling cases in the areas of premises liability, automobile liability, subrogation, title insurance fraud, legal malpractice and medical malpractice. In addition, Ms. Devine established and managed the legal department of an international architectural design and drafting company with offices in US and India. There, she negotiated and drafted international and domestic service agreements, advised architects and project managers regarding contract disputes and international business practices. She used her bilingual skills to act as the business process liaison between US and Indian companies. For the past six years, Ms. Devine has focused her practice on construction defect litigation and has experience representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants in this area of the law.

Ms. Devine holds a B.A. in Communications from California State University, Chico.  In 1998, she earned her Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California, where she was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for Excellence in Criminal Law and the CALI Award for Excellence in Community Property.  While in law school, Ms. Devine completed an externship with the Superior Court of Alameda County and volunteered with the California Lawyers for the Arts assisting artists in the resolution of various copyright infringement issues and contract disputes. She currently volunteers her time representing indigent families through the Volunteer Legal Services Center of Alameda County.

Ms. Devine is licensed to practice law in the State of California and the State of Nevada and is admitted to the United States District Court, Northern in the Northern District of California and District of Nevada. She is a member of the California Bar Association and Nevada Bar Association, and a past member of the Clark County Bar Association and the Contra Costa County Bar Association.
