Brenna R. Daugherty , a Senior Associate with the firm, began her legal career handling complex aviation, products liability and employment cases with demonstrated success in law and motion work.  Ms. Daugherty then founded her own practice where in addition to continuing her litigation work, she expanded into the areas of estate planning and probate administration and litigation. 

Ms. Daugherty holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan.  In 2002, she earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, King Hall School of Law in Davis, California.  While in law school, Ms. Daugherty served on the board of the Environmental Law Society.  She was appointed a legal research fellow in the areas of intellectual property, civil procedure and ethics, and was honored as a Public Interest Law Scholar for her extensive legal work assisting underserved populations with their legal needs.

Prior to law school, Ms. Daugherty worked in Washington D.C. as a Legislative Adviser for U.S. Representative Xavier Becerra.  Ms. Daugherty was responsible for legislation related to foreign affairs, small business, the environment and agriculture, as well as providing assistance to constituent businesses and non-profit organizations in securing federal government grants and contracts.  While working for the Congressman, Ms. Daugherty served as an election monitor for the second democratic election in El Salvador.

Ms. Daugherty is licensed to practice law in the State of California and is a member of the California Bar Association.
